Nice article. I was there last year after a Pinelands Adventure trip to see a cranberry harvest. Interesting site. I too am a big fan of the Pine Barrens. It has some great stories and history. Look forward to reading some more of your articles.

All those tiny crabs are so wild -- would never have imagined them on a mud flat in inland NJ. Also, that’s neat about the Pine Barrens Forum -- is there a community of folks exploring these places?

This was my phone. I am toying with the idea of a real camera but I'm not good a fiddling and learning anymore. I just want to point and shoot. There's a ridiculously expensive Sony Cybershot that would do, but for what? Online viewing? I'd be wasting my money and time.

Yeah, I already have eleventy-thousand cameras. I usually use my phone, but sometimes it's hard to get good shots of wildlife that way.

I find I'm so bad at remembering to get the photos off the memory card. Same thing with video. Editing videos feels like torture. TOR-TURE!
