Beautiful photos! We should take the kids some time. When I was in Pennsylvania at a bed and breakfast on the Delaware, I would watch the swallows every morning swooping over the water. So incredible!
Really love the series of images of the Tree Swallows, Thomas. I am hoping return up my way by mid- to late-April. They're fun to watch dart and dip in the air and over water. Thanks for sharing.

Get them down here and we'll do stuff ;)
What excellent photos! Those swallows in the water are amazing. Thank you for sharing, Thomas.
Thank you, James!
Beautiful shots! I can't believe you got such good ones of swallows. They're so freaking fast!
To be fair, I have a bougie camera. It's not a DSLR, but it's a good one. Sony DSC-RX10IV with a 600mm Zoom lens. Worth every penny.
Fantastic photos, all of them!
Thank you!
I love the sounds the Belted Kingfishers make.
And that is a great Cardinal picture.
Yeah, when I saw him on the ground, I waited for a good photo and got lucky.

I was surprised they were here so early! I've only seen them in the autumn when they are less vibrant.
“followed the snaking Philly highways—which make New Jersey’s look organized”. That made me chuckle.
