Hey Thomas! I have a very random question about the location of the ruins in your "Ghost Towns of the Pine Barrens" post but I don't know the best way to reach you.

Can you let me know what might be the easiest way to shoot you an email? Thanks!

Hi Peter, I used Barbara Solem-Stull’s book Ghost Towns and Other Quirky Places in the New Jersey Pine Barrens as my guide. She would be your best contact. I haven't been out exploring in a year or two. I will warn you that Pine Barrens roads wash out, and stay washed out for weeks or months after the rains stop, and they are deep enough to vapor lock and destroy the engine of an SUV if you are not careful. I brought a big stick to measure them before driving through. Also, many of these roads in Wharton State Forest are no longer public thanks to the new management plan, but you can always walk them! Best of luck with your project.

I honestly LOVED Vyx!!! It was so much fun and such a great read! 🥰 All of your books are. Maybe it's time I read it again. ❤️

1. This is a heck of a list!

2. A new translation of Gilgamesh???!!! Oh man, I might have to get myself a birthday present ...

3. My kid was looking over my shoulder when I opened this email and they said, "I wish he would write another book. I really liked Vyx. That fight they had with their teacher was so funny."

4. Really looking forward to Lauren Hough's new book! Definitely funnier than Steinbeck, and right up there with Molly Ivins. ("Lauren Hough can't say that, can she?" rolls right off the tongue.)

Don't shoot the messenger. :)

Thank you, Nia.

You know, I stumbled upon the opening paragraph of Vyx Stops Weathergeddon in my journal, and it's not bad...

My Sunday mornings aren't very busy lately. I may need to sit down and write 30 chapters, one every Sunday... that's how I wrote the first one. And shared them on Patreon so I couldn't go back and change anything!

It's one way to keep the story moving forward...

Seconding that! Only if it feels good, but if you are drawn to the story, you know you have readers out here ...
